To Create a Successful Dental Website you Must Complete these 3 Goals

March 31, 2014

There are many aspects to a successful dental website besides displaying information and a phone number; that may be enough for a current patient, but people searching for a dental practice in their area are likely looking at a few websites – so you will want your website to stand out from the competition.

  • Reach: First, the visitor has to find your website.  SEO (Search Engine Optimization), print advertising, branding, paid online advertising via Google Adwords and Facebook, and online listings such as Google Places are some good ways to accomplish that.
  • Convert: You have to convert that visitor to a patient by making your website engaging within the first few seconds or they may hit the ‘back’ button.  This can be accomplished with a practice overview video and professional photography showing actual doctors, staff and patients.  It has be to be easy to navigate (especially the mobile version of your website), and various steps need to be taken to create a sense of trust and positive feeling from the visitor to motivate them to make that phone call for a dental appointment – it’s not easy!
  • Remarket: You will want to keep them coming back by finding ways to direct your patients to your website through billing, office signage, recall letters/emails and social media.
